  1. US under Secretary Otero’s suggestion to Nepal Prime minister, Jhalanath Khanal, to resume bilateral talk with Bhutan and her recent visit to Bhutan can be linked with present IOM sudden decision to halt its resettlement program at the pretext of reviewing its resettlement program world wide. Had there been clear intention of the part of IOM, no refugees would have to go back in the same IOM bus that transported them from camp in the morning for flight to Kathmandu and took them back without telling them any reasons.

  2. It is evident that RGOB is going to accept return process with the help of US Under secretary internal meeting with Bhutan King.
King is personally seeing the repartation process happening in next few months.Bhutan envoy in Kolkotta Dasho wangda, in his yesterday interview said WB govt is being notified that mass return of refugees may be allowed from April. There might be screening in Gates and people can go thier respective homes.Dzongkhags are advised reprocess and arrange to take them back those who restellted in Southern land.

This is welcome sign of RGOB and dynamic king of Bhutan.
Thank you US and hell with India for blocking for last 20 yrs.

  3. I am astonished to hear from Jameena about the interview of Mr wangda. Are you not kidding? who did the interview with Mr wangda and how was the govt of WB notified? For your kind information, the issue of bhutanese refugees is not the subject of WB govt. It falls in the domain of union list since it concerns foreign relations.
