Two aspiring parties obtain registration at EC


Two aspiring political parties -Bhutan Kuen-Nyam Party and Druk Chirwang Tshogpa -have finally obtained official registration from the Election Commission of Bhutan.

The scenario has clarified that number of political parties for 2013 general election race will be four for now.

The ECB stated that Bhutan Kuen-Nyam Party is formed by a group of 253 registered voters representing the 20 Dzongkhags, while Druk Chirwang Tshogpa has 233 voters.

    We know two other parties are already salved by Wangchucks and they are working to be faithful of Wangchucks not to our fellow Bhutanese.

    Dreams to win the public’s heart not the Wangchucks’.

  2. Good progress in democratic Bhutan,but I doubt quality ,capability and familiarization with respective voters.Moreover, it is understood that,most of these candidates are self style to be political leaders, supported by few family members with vested interest.
