July 20, Rochester

A resettled man, identified as Jit Bahadur Magar, 38, was shot and killed 10:30 pm last night in Rochester, New York.

Jit was resettled in Rochester from Bhutanese refugee camp Beldangi 1.

He was shot in upper torso. He passed away while being taken to Strong Memorial hospital.

Police have not released any information about the shooting yet, so less information is available.

It is learned that he was the only bread winner for the family.

Jit is survived by seven children and a wife.
