K5 in Bangladesh

King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuk arrived the Bangladeshi capital Dhaka, with Queen Gyaltsuen, on a five-day official visit.

According to media reports from Bangladesh, the country’s Foreign Minister Dr Dipu Moni received the Bhutanese royals on Thursday.

While in Dhaka, the King is scheduled to call on Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and President Zillur Rahman, and hold discussions on bilateral issues.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Jhesar is accompanied by Economic Affairs Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister-In-Charge, Khandu Wangchuck, and Economic Affairs Secretary, Sonam Tshering.

This is the second visit of the royals to Bangladesh after the coronation. He had visited Dhaka on March 26, 2011 as a special guest during 40th anniversary of Bangladesh’s independence.

  1. King kheshar with all smiles all the time makes me recall “you can cheat all the people some of the time, some of the people all the time but not all the people all the time.” The entire intellectual world is keenly observing you.

King kheshar what was the purpose of your visit? What all agreements have u signed? Do the citizens have a right to know? If you say bhutan is a democracy?

Or would you prefer to call your trip there just for preaching your (because you inherited your father’s previlideges and liabilities) GNH to the 156 million bangladeshis. Your majesty! Tread cautiously there coz the population there is more than 100 times bigger that means much less land and resources to be shared among a huge sea of people. Well, well your GNH might drown there! Unless you deceitfully plan with the authorities there to evict about 99.9 % of the population belonging to the other religious groups leaving the land and resources to your recently befriended Buddhist community there. If you succeed to evict as discussed above which leaves your adopted community alone in the whole of Bangladesh then your noble principle might succeed – three cheers for your success in advance your majesty!

OTHERWISE …… Your majesty, should we interpret your pampering of the about 0.1 percent of the community there as indicative of a search for a communal rift there? The majority are Bengali Muslims comprising of 98% of the total 156 million people.

Bangladesh has the highest density of population in the world – your majesty, you would be regarded as a great world leader if your GNH could bring happiness to the entire bangladeshi community not just the Buddhists.

With due respect to your majesty.
(Your’s fellow citizen in exile whose home and happiness has been snatched away from him as that of the hundred thousand presently languishing in exile, by your racist policies).
