Himalayan Taekwondo becomes Team Champion

Himalayan Taekwondo, based in Harrisburg PA, became the champion among other 40 teams from different states in a championship organized at Reston Virginia,  on 30th of March 2019.
Himalayan Taekwondo was able to achieve the first place (Team Champion) out of 35 schools in the 40th Annual National Capital open championship, organized by Grandmaster H.K Lee, at Reston Virginia, which is one of the biggest events in the eastern region.
Resettled Bhutanese participants achieved 10 First place, 18 Second place, and 14 third place. “It would not be possible in such a short period of time without parent’s trust to Himalayan TaeKwonDo”, Nakul Sharma, the chief instructor of Himalayan Taekwondo said. On behalf of the participants, Sharma thanked all the parents, and instructors Prakash Dhungana and Tika Dhungana for their cooperation and tireless support.
