Aimed at giving a refreshing and relieving moment for both Bhutanese and Nepali families, the Bhutanese and Nepali community of Columbus is hosting Maha Jatra celebrations with a Nepali comedy night on November 9, 2014. The event is an initiative of young folks of the community and being supported by the Bhutanese Nepali Community of Columbus (BNCC).
Renowned comedy duo Maha Jodi , Madan Krishna Shrestha and Hari Bamsa Acharya, will be joined by other Nepali comedians including Shiva Hari Poudel aka Mukha ma Hannu Jasto, Kiran KC aka Rata Makkai, Basandara Bhusal, Mohit Acharya, and Yaman Shrestha.
The event also features Mr Rabi Lamichane, the Guinness Book of World Record holder in media personality, some of the Bhutanese comedians, singers and dancers.
The event is expected to draw a huge crowd of Bhutanese and Nepali families in Columbus, Cleveland, Akron, Cincinnati and Pittsburgh, PA. We are expecting a massive presence from local resettlement agencies, faith-based organizations, mutual assistance associations and other local Clubs and service providers of our community people.
