The Deusi Dhamaka is aimed at conducting fundraising through deusi songs of the Sarnarnarthi Sarokar Unit for continuation of broadcast of the radio program from Dharan, which is completing its one year air-service this month.

According to Ichha Poudel, the editor of Radio Bhutan Online, the support for airing from Ganatantra FM which it has been receiving from Ganga Baral and Khagendra Baral from Arizona (USA) is getting over by this month.

“The response regarding continuation of the program is generous from the Bhutanese community,” Poudel said, “However, unless we get support from our well-wishers, we will be compelled to stop airing from this month.”

Meanwhile, BMS has stated that the fund collected from the Dhamaka will also be used to construct a separate Nepali site for Bhutan News Service targeting the resettled folks who are unable to read English news. (Listen to audio below)

BNS has appealed all its well-wishers and resettled Bhutanese to participate in Online Deusi Dhamaka.
